In memoriam
Alexandre Khrapoutski
(15.12.1972–24.11.2024)
Alexandre Khrapoutski was the founding father and ideological inspirator behind our law firm. He played an important role in popularising and promoting dispute resolution through international commercial arbitration in the Republic of Belarus, and enjoyed great and notable authority among his colleagues in various jurisdictions.
Alexanre Khrapoutski was an active founder and organiser of the Eastern European Dispute Resolution Forum (EEDRF), was internationally recognised by legal ratings, and was included in the lists of arbitrators of leading arbitration institutions. He was the only member of the ICC Court of Arbitration from Belarus.
His approach to work combined creativity, a high level of responsibility to the client, clarity, timeliness and a comprehensive approach to solving client problems. All this was combined with impeccable professional ethics and incredible human qualities.
His achievements, approaches and experience are a foundation on which the Lex Torre law firm and its team are now building their work. We continue Alexander Khraputsky’s work and always remember him as an important part of our team.
